FTP Sprite+ App Reviews

Fast, easy to use.

FTP works fine for small files but for large files the transfer stops after downloading 35 MB. After restarting the download it stops again after downloading 35 MB. This is the problem with both the free app and the paid app. Hope they fix it soon.

Cant get better than this on a phone

There are not too mant FTP who work well with ipad3. This one is almost perfect.

Only free app to include delete and move functions. Definitely recommend.

Ive been using this app for months now transferring files to and from my iPhone and home NAS. It works flawlessly and I highly recommend it to anyone. The one thing that would be nice however is if it could play downloaded music in the background. Currently you have to keep the app open to play music and that can eat up the battery. Please add this functionality for all 5 stars!

Unfortunately I can not set start directory, so I have not opportunity to navigate to root of my ftp storage (I use WD TV Live as NAS). Please add such setting.

May I do the Italian translation for you? Its bad and very difficult to understand!

This app seemed functional but even after the latest upgrade is not able to handle correctly the file encoding system which results in the impossibility to manage files on server. They quickly answered my ticket but did not solve the bug. Its just a time and money wastage.

The option to remember what to do if file exists is disappeared with the latest update!

Very useful... It would be interesting to have a html, php viewer and editor. I think it would be a great feature...

This app does just what I needed it to. It connects to an FTP ever, Id uploads, downloads, and allows editing of files including deleting them. Works great - no paid add- ons tat I saw. Thanks guys.

I wish itd show a real time transfer speed and the average throughput at the end.

Works great, but the only way I can find to refresh a folder is to go back a folder and the reselect. Needs a refresh button or a pull down to refresh.

This app is fast easy and has useful functions for viewing files on ftp server. Would greatly benefit if future update would allow to sort ascending or descending.

Very straightforward, clean interface, I would easily give it five star, but... I am unable to upload picture on my ftp server - indepentendly of the image size, it always uploads broken, missing few kb. Moreover after this broken upload I cant upload anything else until I restart application - it keps saying Ftp host is busy...

This so far is the only app that worked well and fast for downloading from an FTP site. Unfortunately movies and music do not play with sound from the iPad directly, you need a Bluetooth audio device to listen. Not sure what that is about. It also locks the files up in its own file directory that allows you to email, zip, or upload. But does not have a social share opportunity for the likes of sites such as facebook. It also does not allow you to re-edit the server login info. So you have to delete the server if you screw up the password or something else and then start all over. It also does not capture any info from the free app so you have to redo all your info and server info should you want to update to the paid version. so in my opinion, its ok but still looking for something better.

This is a great FTP client, but I have some issuesnwith directories not displaying the files inside, and they displaynfine on other clients. Also, I wish you could stream music from the server instead of downloading the whole file before playing it.
